This is one of five or so pieces I did after reading Cheryl Strayed’s memoir, “Wild” about her 1,000 mile hike on the Pacific Crest Trail. 
 
All that talk of backpacking and camping and trees sent me and my puppy Orville on a number of trails on the northern Oregon coast. 
 
I hope I’ve captured some of the serenity of these natural spaces so you can feel it whether you’re in your living room or anywhere.
