Here’s progress on a Lap Desk commission. 17 pieces milled by my count. Actually the top is two pieces joined, so 18, not including the little corner braces or hardware.
The Lap Desk pictured is my personal desk, which I didn’t want to part with. It’s maple and mahogany. The new one will have a black walnut frame and clear, vertical grain Doug Fir box.
